"If you believe change is necessary for women around the world, join in the FarmHer movement. Spread the word, tell your friends and family and most importantly come back and visit often."
"FarmHer focuses on promoting women in agriculture, and my goal through the Grow events is to show young women their opportunities in agriculture. The best way to follow your dreams is to see that they are possible, and women in agriculture have the best jobs in the world- it's time to highlight those jobs!"
- Lexi Marek

- Ali Luety
"My favorite part of FarmHer is seeing women stand together and be proud of their lifestyle. I am beyond excited to meet FarmHers from around the country and have the opportunity to hear their stories."
- Josie Burgett
Marji Guyler-Alaniz is the Founder and President of FarmHer, and the woman behind the camera. After working in corporate agriculture for eleven years, she started FarmHer in 2013 to begin to shine a light on women in agriculture through photography. When she is not answering phone calls, at a photoshoot, or managing all aspects of FarmHer, she can be found in her home state of Iowa, spending time with her two beautiful children, Ava and AJ, and her husband Tony.
As a small town FarmHer herself, Carly Cummings was excited to join the team as the Events + Merchandise Manager in summer 2016. Her love for agriculture, coupled with her desire to empower women to share their stories and follow their dreams, drew her to FarmHer. Carly will be traveling to events around the country, promoting the importance of FarmHer and helping you look your best while sporting merchandise that speaks of your passion. She hopes to see you at our next event!
A proud pig farmer, Iowa State University student, and Washington, Iowa native, Lexi Marek was the first ever FarmHer summer intern in 2015. During her internship, Lexi spent her time planning the first ever Grow by Future FarmHer event, an event allowing over 250 young women to connect and learn about their importance in the agricultural industry. We are happy to have Lexi on board to help with the coordination of this year's upcoming Grow events.
Ali Luety is a true FarmHer. Growing up on a farm in Clinton, Wisconsin, Ali was deeply immersed in agriculture since birth and has always had a passion for showing livestock. She will be entering her senior year at Iowa State University where she studies public relations and agriculture and society. After attending the first FarmHer Grow conference last year, she says it was her dream to become part of the team. We are so glad her dream came true!
Josie Burgett comes to us from Pleasantville, Iowa, where growing up she gained a deep appreciation for all for all aspects of agriculture. She recently took that passion to Iowa State University where she studies agricultural business and international agriculture. She loves advocating for agriculture and feels FarmHer is the perfect fit for her. We couldn’t agree more!
