While 2017 was a whirlwind, I know I will always remember receiving an e-mail saying I was awarded the first scholarship to the national 'I Am FarmHer' event, so graciously sponsored by Brenda and Bob Haney.  I’m just a young FarmHer from nowhere Kansas, I never would have imagined I would be so lucky to have received the scholarship over hundreds of women that would soon connect me with so many amazing ladies from across the country.

    FarmHer Events | Grow by FarmHer

    FarmHer is hitting the road! With the inspiration from reaching 1,000 young ladies in 4 states last year, we have decided to take our Grow by FarmHer events to a whole new level. The next year of events will cover six states and will allow FarmHer to meet thousands of young women at college campuses around the country!  The Midwest tour will visit three universities in one week in November. Then the Eastern tour will do the same format but will take place in February 2018.

    A few years back I spent my days working in insurance.  Then I quit.  Yep, I was a quitter, but I needed a change in my life, I needed a shake up to figure out what was next.  Shortly afterwards, I started a photo project to highlight the role women play in agriculture.  Well, that grew.
