The second annual 'I am FarmHer' event included 160 amazing ladies from 21 different states. The three-day event was a success but if you could not make it to Kansas City, read below for the recap.
August 25th 2017. That’s the day that changed my life. It was the day a storm took my families home, displacing my family (and extended family), destroying the home my little sister was buying from my parents, the home that my father built with his hands as he saved up money to build, the house I've called a home for almost 20 years.
Valentine's Day is near and LOVE is on everyone's mind! No matter whether this love is for that special someone, a furry friend, or your family, everyone can agree that the feeling of LOVE is contagious. That's why we, here at FarmHer, want to share why we LOVE you!
FarmHer began in 2013, and each year brings new friends, excitement, and expansion. Our goal today remains the same as it did then, to shine a light on women in agriculture, and below are FarmHer’s top seven ‘Shining Moments’ in 2017.
Grow by FarmHer is a series of events that will inspire, educate and empower young women in agriculture, ages 16-22, to take an active role in leading the industry. The day-long event consists of interaction with great mentors, connections to peers, and the opportunity to listen to inspiring speakers. Cristen Clark will be a speaker at the events taking place in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Follow Cristen on her blog, www.FoodandSwine.com and join her and the FarmHer team on this years Grow by FarmHer tour!
FarmHer believes in women supporting women who are making a difference in the world. When Marji first heard about The Goddess Project, she immediately wanted to learn more.
