NASHVILLE, TN – RFD-TV, the leading network for rural America, is excited to present the highly anticipated second episode of its acclaimed series, RanchHER, featuring the Flitner Ranch. This captivating show profiles the extraordinary women of the ranching industry — highlighting their grit, grace, and glory and offering an exhilarating lineup that will inspire audiences nationwide. In this episode, sisters Morgan and Scotlyn Flitner breed, raise, halter-break, and ride some of the best horses in the country.
With horses and cattle at the heart of the operation, the Flitner Ranch, founded in 1906 by Arthur Flitner, started with only 160 acres. Today it spreads from the top of the Big Horn Mountains, across Big Horn Basin, to the McCullough Peaks near Cody, spanning 300,000 acres.
Cowgirls since day one, Morgan and Scotlyn proudly represent RanchHER with their larger-than-life personalities, running the family ranch on traditions passed down through the family since the turn of the century.
Hosted by the dynamic Janie Johnson, RanchHER focuses on incredible women, like Morgan and Scotlyn, who significantly contribute to the ranching and livestock industry.
“The Flitner Girls are just cool and full of personality,” Johnson explained. “They’re also incredibly handy cowgirls. We had so much fun hanging out with them, to say the least. Their ranch also has a lot of history and I think people will love seeing their resilience as a family.”
